APPLICATION REPORT

25 Emerging Tumor Markers for Colorectal Cancer Tested across Omics

Abstract

While numerous tumor markers and tumor-specific antigens have been proposed for colorectal cancer (CRC), their validation remains a critical hurdle. Questions around specificity, functional protein translation, cell surface expression, and consistent overexpression across studies and datasets must be addressed to ensure their utility in both research and clinical applications. In this work, we evaluated a selection of promising CRC tumor markers using the C-DIAM Multi-Omics Studio, applying a cross-omics approach to assess their robustness and reliability. This analysis highlights the most compelling candidates and provides insights into their potential as diagnostic or therapeutic targets in colorectal cancer
